Chesterfield, Mo. (August 23, 2017) – West County Dermatology announced today that Emily Beck, M.D. has joined its staff and is accepting new adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Beck will offer general, medical, and cosmetic dermatology treatments.
Dr. Beck completed her residency in dermatology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at the Washington University School of Medicine and her internal medicine internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield. She graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in 2013.

Dr. Beck’s professional memberships include Alpha Omega Alpha, the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society.

She’s both personable and knowledgeable and will offer our patients the best in care,” said Daniel Ring, M.D. Dr. Beck provides comprehensive medical skin care, along with cosmetic treatments such as Botox®, dermal fillers, and laser treatments for hair removal, acne scarring, age spots, and more.
Dr. Beck has presented at multiple conferences over the past year, including the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Annual Meeting, and the Cosmetic Surgery Forum. She has been accepted for presentation again at the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Annual Meeting this fall.
Dr. Beck is the recipient of several research grants. Washington University in St. Louis Department of Pathology provided funding for investigation of smooth muscle staining in 2015, and IDEA labs provided funding for the analysis of 3D imagery in teledermatology in 2016. Furthermore, she was awarded the James Henry Yalem Prize in Dermatology, and membership to Alpha Omega Alpha in 2013.
