Company acquires internationally known dermatologist’s clinic based in St. Louis
MINNETONKA, Minn. (March 7, 2016) — United Skin Specialists LLC (“USS”), a dermatology-directed practice management group, announced today that it has acquired the Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Center & Chesterfield ASC, a St. Louis -based dermatology clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center owned by Dr. George Hruza, medical director.
Dr. Hruza is a past president of both the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and is a clinical professor of dermatology and otolaryngology at St. Louis University. He’s contributed to more than 150 scientific publications, including the textbook Principles and Practice of Laser Surgery and lectured extensively on many topics on four continents — lasers in dermatology, Mohs surgery, skin cancer, cosmetic surgery and dermatologic surgery. In addition, Dr. Hruza has been listed in St. Louis Magazine as one of the Top Doctors and Best Doctors in St. Louis for the last 15 years.
“USS will take the time-consuming, day-to-day administrative and management challenges off our plate,” said Dr. Hruza, Medical Director. “We’ll still operate as an independent clinic, but now we have more time to focus on exemplary patient care and dermatological research.”
The Laser & Dermatological Surgery Center is the premier center for laser skin treatments and skin surgery in the St. Louis area.
